Content & Moderation Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

This policy sets out what may be minted and listed on the TCC NFT Marketplace, how the community reporting system works, and what happens after a report. It applies to NFT media, metadata, names, descriptions and collection details.

The marketplace is non-custodial and settles on a public blockchain. Moderation controls what our interface shows. It cannot delete a token from the blockchain and cannot remove media from IPFS. See Limits of moderation.

1. What is not allowed

The reporting categories below are the ones built into the marketplace. Each is a breach of this policy.

Stolen work / not the creator

Copying someone else's artwork, or minting from a work you do not own or are not licensed to use. This includes re-minting an existing collection, tracing, and passing off AI output trained to imitate a specific living artist as that artist's work.

Scam or misleading

Fake or cloned collections, impersonating another creator, project or brand, false claims about utility, edition size, provenance, partnerships or endorsements, wash trading, and listings designed to trick a buyer into signing something other than what is described.

Sexual content

Explicit sexual imagery. Non-consensual intimate imagery is prohibited absolutely, whether or not it is explicit.

Violence or hate

Gore, glorification of violence, harassment or targeted abuse of an individual, and hateful content attacking people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation — including hateful symbols.

Child sexual abuse material

Zero tolerance. Any content that sexualises a minor is removed from our interface on sight, the wallet and any linked account are permanently banned, and the matter is escalated to the relevant authorities. There is no appeal.

Other unlawful or harmful content

Content that is otherwise unlawful, that facilitates fraud or malware, that discloses another person's private information, or that breaches sanctions.

2. How community reporting works

Any wallet can report a listing from the marketplace interface.

3. Administrator review

Hidden listings enter a review queue. An administrator will either:

We aim to review hidden listings promptly, but we do not guarantee a review time. Automatic hiding happens before any human has looked at the listing — a hidden listing is not a finding of wrongdoing.

4. Abuse of the reporting system

Reporting in bad faith is itself a breach of this policy. Because reports are signed, administrators can see who filed them and can identify patterns — for example, coordinated reporting of a competitor's listings, or repeatedly reporting content that is then restored.

Consequences escalate from ignoring a wallet's reports, to suspending its ability to report, to banning it from the marketplace interface.

5. Appeals

If your listing was hidden and you believe it complies with this policy, email [email protected] with:

Appeals are not available for child sexual abuse material. If your listing was hidden because somebody claimed you infringed their rights, the counter-notice route in the IP Takedown Procedure applies instead.

6. Enforcement against accounts

Depending on severity and repetition we may: hide individual listings; hide all listings from a wallet; block a wallet from the marketplace interface; suspend or terminate any linked TCC account under the Terms of Service; and report the matter to authorities.

Repeat infringement of other people's intellectual property leads to a permanent marketplace ban.

7. Limits of moderation

We can hide, but we cannot erase.

This is why the minting rules ask you not to publish anything you may later need erased.
